Free Foreclosure Prevention Workshop

I have been privileged to participate in a series of free workshops that the City of Orlando has sponsored. The workshops start at 9am and last until 1pm. They provide a basic understanding of the process that leads up to a lender filing a foreclosure lawsuit as well as a chance to hear from a panel of experts (including me) who explain various aspects of the system and answer any questions from the audience. I have learned something new myself each time I have participated.

The last one will be held at the Engelwood Neighborhood Center on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 9am. The center is located at:

6123 La Costa Drive
Orlando, FL 32807

I would highly encourage anyone who is in trouble with their mortgage to come out and participate. If you learned about it from this blog make sure you say hello!

One Response to “Free Foreclosure Prevention Workshop”

  1. Well, this is a wonderful and welcome contribution to the community. I’ve found that if people knew their options and that the lender is totally open to work with them, we would have fewer foreclosures. What happens is that people think the problem will go away, and the lender is left thinking the borrower simply does not want to pay. Dale
