EDUCATION

Ms. Durnell was born in Princeton, New Jersey and grew up in Miami, Florida. After graduating from
Miami Norland Senior High School , she traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to attend Case Western Reserve
University. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in May of 1992 with a double major of
English/Law & Public Policy. Ms. Durnell continued her education at
Regent University School of Law
where she was awarded her Juris Doctor degree in May of 1995. In September of that same year
she was admitted as a member of the Florida Bar.
After completing her formal education, Ms. Durnell continues to gain new skills by seeking additional
bar admissions and certifications. She has obtained admission to practice in the Middle, Northern and
Southern federal court districts of Florida.

She is also Florida Supreme Court Certified as both a Civil and Family Mediator, and is a registered
Professional Guardian.
WORK EXPERIENCE

Ms. Durnell has been employed in a variety of legal settings since being admitted to practice. She has
worked for both large and small law firms and in a governmental setting as well. Some prior practice
areas include general civil,  real estate and juvenile dependency law.

Her private practice was opened in 2004 and she currently focuses on the areas of Foreclosure
Defense, Consumer Bankruptcy, and Immigration.
